There is no denying that diamonds can make even the simplest things more elegant. They are friends of every jeweler, and celebrities love them. However, beauty always has a price— and its not just how much a diamond costs. The extraction of natural diamonds destroys the environment. And this is not invested in modern trends in any way.

Lab-grown diamonds are another matter. They are safe for the environment and cheaper. And yet, laboratory-grown diamonds are the mainstream, which even celebrities have joined. Below we will talk about celebrities who choose lab-grown diamonds instead of natural ones.

Penelope Cruz

Penelope Cruz is one of the ardent supporters of laboratory-grown diamonds. At the 71st Cannes Film Festival, the actress appeared on the red carpet in earrings from Atelier Swarovski.

The decoration was designed by the actress herself as part of the Atelier Swarovski collaboration. The Cruz collection includes diamonds, rubies, sapphires and topazes created in the laboratory, extracted ethically.

Penelope Cruz has already released two collections: Penélope Cruz Fine Jewelry — jewelry, which she also presents on red carpets, and Penélope Cruz MoonSun — a more democratic series for every day.

Her jewelry line is popular with Mandy Moore, Zendaya, Laura Dern, Olivia Palermo and Carly Ross.

Billy Porter

The legendary and iconic Billy Porter is a trendsetter and a fan of diamonds created in the laboratory. He was seen wearing a Lark and Berry necklace from Diamond Foundry during the 2020 Academy Awards ceremony.A necklace with 500 diamonds in 64 carats from Lark & Berry sparkled brighter than the pretentious image of the actor.

Леди Гага

American singer, actress and songwriter Lady Gaga also actively cares about nature and prefers laboratory diamonds.

At the premiere of her film "A Star is Born", she wore a Victorian dress by Alexander McQueen with a ruffled collar and a beaded corset. To complete the spectacular look, she wore a pair of cluster earrings with laboratory-grown stones from London jewelry designer Anabela Chan.

Constellation Pearl earrings are three pearls framed by nine laboratory-grown classic-cut diamonds.
