fter all, it is the same diamond. No one will be able to tell the difference, but everyone will see the size of the stone.
I just counted the difference. I figured out how much I was willing to spend and what ring I could buy for it. A 0.6 carat diamond with the best color, cut and clarity that will cost me 60-80 thousand, but will be grown in a laboratory. Or spend the same amount on a tiny pebble marked “natural.”
I chose the first one. After all, it is the same diamond. No one will be able to tell the difference, but everyone will see the size of the stone. And the size of a grown stone is many times larger.
Andrey: “Spending a fortune on a transparent sparkling stone... I don’t see the point in it”
Why did I choose lab-grown diamonds? Why not? If you want to spend a fortune on a clear, sparkling stone, go for mined diamonds. I do not get the point of it.
A 3-carat ring with a mined diamond will cost me about 10 million, and a laboratory ring 3 million, provided that there is no difference between them. The benefit is obvious.
Sergey: “Buying a natural diamond is worse than buying a new car”
Why did we choose cultured diamond engagement rings? They are cheaper. We saved money and spent the money on the tour.
Buying a natural diamond is worse than buying a new car. If necessary, by selling your diamond ring, you can get around 50% of the original cost... You can return all the money only for large stones, and then if you leave them for descendants. Im not ready to spend hundreds of thousands on a ring that could get lost or not fit on my finger at any time.
Moreover, I already spent 3 times less by buying a ring with a grown diamond. Consider that you compensated for the benefit from the sale of a natural diamond.
